20 Acts of Kindness - Act No. 8: Honouring Frank Sabben
Recently, the Gold Coast family law community lost one of its number, Frank Sabben, to an aggressive brain cancer.
Frank was a true gentleman who worked amongst us helping people at work (where he handled private and legal aid family law matters) and at home (where he fostered and cared for many children).
Frank was always affable, smiling and willing to help people. He was never without his treasured Jaguar (I’m sure it was a collector’s item) car and his favourite tweed jacket (which he was rarely without).
At the final Gold Coast Family Lawyers’ Continuing Professional Development event for 2017, local family lawyers toasted frank and his memory and offered their own touching memories.
Evans & Company Family Lawyers donated two raffle prizes, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, won by Ros Byrne from WP Lawyers, Nerang and a Redzed Gourmet Cookie/Chocolate Box, won by David Reardon of Reardon Family Lawyers, Southport.
The proceeds of the raffle are being sent to the newly created Charlie Teo Foundation as a donation in Frank’s name.
