We're Conducting a Raffle to Raise Money for the Charity, Assist-A-Sista
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, the most dangerous epidemic in Australia is not depicted in “That Sugar Movie” and it’s not Ebola!
It’s the incidence of domestic violence…..the figures will stagger you!
So we have decided to support the charity, Assist A Sista, whose work involves establishing for victims of domestic violence and their children, a complete ability to relocate from an abusive home situation to another pre-established residence, fully kitted out with furniture, linens, food and all manner of consumables so as there is no need for them to risk remaining in an abusive relationship or a need to consider returning to one.
Government funding is very hard to come by and despite the prevalence of domestic violence, funding is reducing and certainly not keeping pace with demand.
For this reason, we are running a raffle to raise funds for the Assist A Sista Charity. The details of our raffle are:
- Online opening and closing dates: Commencement on 5th May, 2015 and conclusion at 5pm 21st May, 2015
- In person opening and closing dates: Commencement on 5th May, 2015 and conclusion at 4pm 22nd May, 2015
- Tickets are $2 each, 3 tickets for $5 or 10 tickets for $15
- Buying tickets can occur at our office, over the phone or online.
The raffle prize draw will occur at 6.30pm on Friday 22nd May, 2015 and the results will be posted to our Facebook page that evening.
